Kingston impresses judges and spectators
with his naturally good paces and easy going manner. He is
a pleasure to show. At recognized CEF/EC dressage competitions
under judges such as Lisolette Fore and Hilda Gurney, he has
seen ribbons every time with dressage scores in the high 60%
including several 70+%. At the jumper shows he is bold and brave
with wonderful scope over all types of fences. Now eventing,
he is attracting a lot of positive attention.
Kingston's sire, Martin's Worry,
is the proven sire of champions in hunter, jumper and combined
training in Canada and the U.S.A. From his sire, Kingston has
inherited superb rideability and a fabulous canter. The *Royal
Charger is a well recognized sport producing line. From the dam
sire, *Mustango, comes another proven TB sports line with Mustango
the sire of many top combined training horses including the International
competitor, 'Might Tango'.
His dam Ariena, herself a star
mare, is by Naturel generally considered to be the best approved
Lucky Boy xx son. Ariena's dam is by the preferent Dutch stallion
Kristal, a noted sire of dressage horses. Naturel was 3- and
4-year-old Champion at the national stallion inspection in Utrecht.
He was the absolute topper of the performance test with 8.7 for
the riding test, 8 for jumping under saddle and 9 for free jumping.
His offspring are not only valued for their sport performance,
but also for their sound constitution. In the 1993 Breeding Values
of stallions for dressage and jumping, 8-yr-old and older progeny,
Naturel was with a jumping index of 112/reliability percentage
94% and a dressage index of 111/reliability percentage 92%. In
the 1996/97 WBFSH International Breeding Guide, Naturel shows
5 get competing internationally since 1990 - 2 jumpers and 3
