2001 Canadian Warmblood black mare, 16.0 hands

A lovely mare with exceptional Dutch pedigree. Dam Marakesh, was a 7.8 premium on her mare inspection and has been a good producer. Her sire, Wodan (Lorenz / MIllerole) was a Grand Prix jumper with excellent gaits. Shika's sire is the imported Dutch stallion Formaat (Widor / Pion) the sire of many uppper levels get in dressage (to FEI) and eventing (to Preliminary).

Shika was farm raised and started late through no fault of her own ... just too many horses to start. She has quickly settled into barn routine and enjoys work. She has hauled out to 2 recognized dressage shows as well as several schooling shows. She was very sensible and worked well. Through the jumping chute she demonstrates good scope and a nice technique. She has started jumping under saddle. This is a very solid mare with deep girth that will carry a taller rider.
