2004 competing with Amateur owner at Level 4 Dressage, schooling Prix St Georges.

Sired by the imported, Verband approved Hanoverian stallion Empire, a champion dressage horse and sire in his own right and a half brother to Wenzel I & II, also proven Hanoverian dressage lines. Click on the link for more information and photographs of Empire.

Max' dam line carries the proven Thoroughbred blood of Craig D xx, a prolific sire of good sports horses in the PNW that were especially talented in dressage, and Summerland xx who also appears in the pedigree of many successful lines in the PNW, especially as a dam sire. Summerland xx is the sire or dam sire of 5 mares entered with CWHBA. Rose D'or carried breeding approvals with Westfalen, Oldenburg, CSHA and Canadian Warmblood. She produced numerous good sport progeny including:
