2004 CANADIAN WARMBLOOD GELDING: dark bay gelding by Tramino. He has had approximately 60 day of careful light training last spring. He walks and trots comfortably under saddle and has been introduced to the canter. He enjoys working and received many glowing comments from his trainer on his character. Tyax should make an excellent junior or amateur horse - just choose your discipline. He also has some chute jump experience and shows consistent technique. Tyax's dam Dell (reg. Beyond the Wind), is a Washington State bred Thoroughbred mare. She raced in California as a two and three year old with one win in seven starts. When retired from racing she was used as a broodmare and school horse. She is a lofty, floaty mover and works well off of the hind end even with a pasture injury. She was presented to the CWHBA at the age of 18, in and with a foal at side, and received the following comments 'an aged mare in very good condition ... good hock activity and rhythm'. Through his dam, Tyax carries some of the racing and sport worlds' top names, including Hyperion, Nearco, Royal Charger, Turn-To and Your Host who have produced top sport horses, particularly in the hunter/jumper and eventing disciplines such as Maximum Clearance, a former Grand Prix jumping stallion. Tramino, his sire, is a successful Advanced Level dressage horse with exceptional disposition and trainability with character, conformation, presence and talent. He completed his 100 day test in Munster-Handorf in 1993 and is approved in CWHBA, Westfalen, Rheinlander and CHSA studbooks. His offspring are successful on the line and are already showing great promise in the show ring. Congratulations to new owners in Washington state. Skallebo Farm has other CWHBA horses for sale.
