SOLD: Congratulations to Brandy who has taken Ghazi on a training project and will prepare her for the show ring! Ghazi has not been started under saddle, but could be ... or, she could continue as a broodmare. She is a wonderful mother; conceives easily and foals without assistance. Not bred back at this time, however could sell with a breeding contract.

Mirrabook Farms purchased Ghazi from her breeder as a rising 2 year old. In 1999 when she was presented to the Canadian Warmblood Breeders and was scored a premium 7.17 by Dr Gerd Lehmann of Warendorf. She scored 8's for her type and her walk with 7's for conformation, swing & elasticity and general impression. Even with her medium size, this is a very athletic mare with excellent, fluid movement and lots of scope through the chute.
Dr Lehmann's comments: "Well set neck; well formed shoulder's and croup coupling; hocks active at the trot."
Ghazi's jumping talent should come as no surprize! Her dam, Chief Role, was a top flight competitor in the jumper ring for American Performance Horse Farms and competed to the Open divisions under Hap Hansen. Combined with the talent of Gelan, Ghazi demonstrates wonderful type and talent.
Ghazi is the dam of five foals to date.
