German registered and branded Westfalen mare by the Approved Westfalen stallion Pacific Sunset - sire of Stuart Black's Advanced Event Champion, 'Fleeceworks Pacific Storm'. Quest was ranch raised in the BC Interior. She shows a sensible attitude and accepting nature of new situations.

Quest is a fluid mover of warmblood type. She has that beautifully balanced uphill canter expected from her maternal grandsire, the warmblood Approved TB stallion Martin's Worry, with a good trot and walk. A good performance or broodmare prospect from a strong mare family. Quest's dam, Southern Elite, produced a good number of performance offspring competing from FEI dressage to hunters and eventing, including 5 Tramino foals of which her first was the 2002 Cw Foal Futurity Champion. Her last foal was born 2006.

Bred as a three year old, Quest produced a lovely colt by Artenstolz, Union. She was an easy breeder, and foaled unassisted with no complications. Now under saddle and competing successfully with a junior rider.

Quest foaled May 7, 2005. She was bred to the Approved Westfalen stallion Tramino. Though most consider Tramino a dressage specialist, we are excited about his babies of Hunter type. He himself shows beautiful Hunter form when jumping and bred to hunter mares is siring hunter type foals.
