1996 grey mare; 16.2 h.h; registered CWHBA & F2 CSHA (breeding approved); beautiful, elegant conformation with extravagant, bold movement; natural rhythm; very bold through the jumping chute; excellent prospect for combined training, jumpers or dressage; by Gelan out of a premium performance mare by Preben's Pride xx. The dam competed successfully at Preliminary level Combined Training and dressage to Medium I. This is a very special mare.

 

At the1999 Canadian Warmblood Mare Inspections, awarded 1st Premium with an 8.00 average score, by Dr.Gerd Lehmann of Warendorf, Germany, with no score below 8.0 in any category! Southern Nova tied for 2nd hi-score in the Nation for the 1999 Tour - of 160 mares inspected.

On September 12, 2000, Nova successfully completed the Open Mare Test run by the Westfalen Breeders of Germany and judged by Dr Maharens (Warendorf), Mr Manfred Lopp (Hanoverian, Germany), Mr Albert Kley (Spruce Meadows) and Margret Dieckmann (Westfalen, Germany). Of 16 mares shown, Nova scored the second highest jumping score of 7.5. Top score was an 8.0.
